EN10305-1 E235+N Heat Exchanger Tube For Condenser Application

EN 10216-2 is a European standard for seamless steel tubes used for pressure purposes in various industrial applications. The "EN" designation means it's a European Norm standard, while the "10216-2" specifies that the tube is intended for use in high-pressure systems. The standard specifies technical delivery conditions for seamless tubes intended for use in pressure equipment, including heat exchangers, boilers, and other pressure vessels.

TC2 designation refers to the steel tube's manufacturing process and delivery conditions. P235GH is often used in heat exchangers, boilers, and other applications that require good mechanical properties at moderate temperatures.

Applications:

1. Heat Exchangers: This steel grade is commonly used in the construction of heat exchangers, including those in power plants, chemical plants, and refineries, where fluids or gases need to be cooled or heated efficiently.
2. Boilers: P235GH is often used in the production of tubes for steam boilers and water-tube boilers that operate at moderate temperatures and pressures.
3. Pressure Vessels: P235GH is suitable for use in pressure vessels, where moderate strength and heat resistance are required but extreme corrosion resistance is not critical.
4. Piping Systems: P235GH is used for piping systems in applications where pressure resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical properties at higher temperatures are necessary, such as in oil and gas pipelines, steam systems, and petrochemical industries.
5. Power Generation: The tubes are also found in power generation facilities, particularly in systems that handle steam, water, and other fluids at elevated temperatures.
