The ASTM A213 T22 HFW Fin Tube is a high-temperature alloy steel tube with high frequency welded (HFW) fins, designed for use in industrial furnaces, heaters, and boilers. The T22 alloy offers superior thermal strength, oxidation resistance, and creep resistance, making it suitable for continuous operation under extreme heat and pressure.

Applications: Convection Section of the Furnace

• Located in the upper part of the furnace.

• This section recovers residual heat from flue gases after combustion.

• Flue gas temperature here is lower than in the radiant section (typically 300–700°C), making it ideal for finned tubes.

• The fins increase surface area, enhancing heat recovery efficiency.

• T22’s creep strength and oxidation resistance ensure reliable performance under long-term high-temperature operation.
